Jan Smith is a higher education consultant specializing in international business and international programs.  Ms. Smith established and was the Director of the International Business Institute and served as Director of International Programs at Austin Community College, a 2-year institution with over 25,000 students.  Jan's higher education experience includes serving as a faculty member at both the community college and university level.  Prior to teaching, Ms. Smith worked as an auditor and small business owner.  She has a BA and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a CPA license.  Currently a principal with Oceanscoast Consulting, Ms. Smith is a Past President of NASBITE International.
