Board of Governors

The NASBITE Board of Governors (BOG) consists of 25 members and meets three times per year, twice at the Annual Conference and once in the fall. The BOG is a “working” board” that requires active involvement by all members, including participation on various standing committees, such as strategic planning, conference planning, member development/marketing, and CGBP planning and development. Monte Ahuja Hall, Home of the Nance College of BusinessThe Nance College of Business at Cleveland State University was pleased to become the Host Institution for NASBTE International in 2008.

Driven by the vision of vitality for the future, the Nance College of Business is recognized in the region for excellence in preparing future business leaders. Accredited in both business and accounting by AACSB International, Nance provides an engaged learning experience with career focus. Partnership programs expose students to the business community in Northeast Ohio, complementing our dynamic and contemporary curriculum. Nance faculty use innovative techniques in the classroom and in their research. With more than 80% of our graduates establishing their careers locally, the Nance College of Business is essential to the economic growth and sustainability of the Northeast Ohio region.

The Global Business Center in the Nance College of Business actively increases global competitiveness for Northeast Ohio. A recipient of Ohio’s Governor’s E- Award for Excellence, the Global Business Center develops training programs and sponsors education in global business. Utilizing faculty expertise, the Global Business Center provides research and business services enabling local companies to expand into the global market. The Global Business Center also helps foreign companies invest in the local market, resulting in added economic development for the region.
