Lynn Stewart has over 25 years of international trade experience and is the Director of the Orange County Center for International Trade Development (OC CITD) hosted at Rancho Santiago Community College District. She is also the current Deputy Sector Navigator (DSN) for Global Trade & Logistics for Orange County under a California Community College’s Chancellor’s Office initiative. Through this economic/workforce development program, she provides international trade assistance to local businesses and foreign investors. Additionally, she works with a collaborative of businesses and educational institutions in Orange County to help globalize curriculum and provide in-demand skills for employers.
Ms. Stewart has previously served as a trade consultant and business advisor for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the CITD in Long Beach, CA as well as a subject matter expert and faculty member of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
Since 2000, Ms. Stewart has been an adjunct instructor in the Global Business and Entrepreneurship Program at Santa Ana College teaching classes in marketing and international business. Prior to that, Ms. Stewart spent several years as Director of International Sales and Marketing for an environmental company and has also had her own consulting firm.
Ms. Stewart holds an MBA with a global business specialty and is also a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP).
