Robert Erwin, CGBP

Senior International Business Consultant, University of Georgia SBDC International Trade Center

Bob Erwin has over 30 years of experience in the field of international trade. Prior to joining the University of Georgia faculty he held numerous senior positions in government and industry, and has worked in over 25 countries. Previous positions include Commercial Vice Consul with the British Consulate General – Atlanta, Executive Director of the American Building Products Export Council – Washington, DC, and Director of the International Trade Division of the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade & Tourism. He also served as NASBITE’s President from 2011-2012. Mr. Erwin is a registered architect and holds a B.A., B. Arch, and M. Arch from Syracuse University.


Dimitrios Kloussiadis, CGBP

International Trade Consultant, University of Georgia International Trade Center

Mr. Kloussiadis has over 28 years of experience in international business in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the SBDC, he held the position of International Marketing Manager, where he established and developed an extensive network of international distributors and dealers in the Middle East and North African markets. Through the years, he has been involved in licensing, distribution and joint venture agreements for the European, South Africa, South American, Asian and Australian markets. Earlier in his career he owned a trading business, where he imported and marketed European and Asian products to US architectural and construction firms, and to major US department stores. He holds a B.S. in marketing from the University of Louisiana, and an M.B.A. in international business from Georgia State University.
