Mr. Floyd served as a Managing Director and Senior Vice President of BMO Harris Bank. During his career with BMO Harris, Mr. Floyd led and managed teams focused on lending, business development, and executive recruitment. Earlier in his career, he served with the International Banking Department of Wachovia Bank as a country analyst and manager of the letters of credit department. He also served as an international credit analyst with the International Finance Division of the General Motors Overseas Distribution Corporation.

Mr. Floyd teaches Globalization and Business at Governors State University. Over the years he has taught Money and Banking, Business Ethics and Business Policy. He is also the Faculty Advisor for the university’s International Business Club.

Mr. Floyd attended the University of Michigan where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. He earned an M.B.A. from Clark Atlanta University. He also earned a Masters of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies. He is a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) and a Certified CGBP Trainer.

Mr. Floyd’s academic and international professional business interest provided him the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Africa, Asia, and Europe. As a former Trustee of Roosevelt University and Chair of the university’s investment committee, he traveled throughout China with a team and assisted in establishing alumni chapters and student exchange relationships with universities in China.

Jim Foley is the Director of the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship at Bradley University, and the Illinois SBDC International Trade Center.  Mr. Foley manages a program of counseling and training in international business, marketing, logistics and finance.  He is also Director of International Programs for the Foster College of Business. Mr. Foley is a frequent speaker on issues of international trade and teaches International Business courses at Bradley University. He is the author of the book The Global Entrepreneur discussing techniques to expand exports. He is also the lead author of the eleventh edition of International Marketing by Vern Tersptra. Jim has received numerous recognitions including the ASBDC State Star, the NASBITE International Trade Educator of the Year Award, the Illinois Governor’s Export Award, and the IATTO Lifetime Achievement Award. He most recently received the John Otis Lifetime Achievement Award, NASBITE International’s highest recognition.  In 2009 Bradley’s International Trade Center was awarded the President of the United State’s E Award. Jim serves as national co-chair of the ASBDC International Interest Section. Mr. Foley has lived in Mexico, UK, and France. He received his MBA from the London Business School at the University of London, and his undergraduate degree from Knox College.

Laurie Wolff, CGBP, is an academic economist who has taught literally tens of thousands of students the basics of exchange rates. She is a Distinguished Fellow of NASBITE International and is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) Trainer. She tries to bridge the gap between educators, government business assistance centers and businesses, trying to connect students with employers, training with business needs, and helping businesses that need her help. She especially likes to teach about competitive trends and ways to manage risk in international trade. Her mission is to improve the practice of global business.
