Susan Dragotta is the Lead Instructor for the global business program at Waukesha County Technical College (www.wctc.edu). The global business program includes core courses such as global business fundamentals, global marketing, supply chain, trade finance, export and import compliance, cultural awareness, global business applications (a capstone course), and a review for the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) exam. WCTC has a strong reputation in the international trade community of Wisconsin, with over 25 years of providing semester long courses as well as workshops for local businesses. Dragotta has over 20 years of international trade experience. Prior to joining WCTC she was an Export Development Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, working with Milwaukee area companies to expand their exports. Prior to joining Commerce, she worked in the private sector in international sales, with a focus on Latin America. She is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), a board member of the MMAC World Trade Association (www.mmac.org/wta) and a co-chair for the organization’s Education Committee. She is also a member of the International Credit Executives Group (www.icewi.org) and the International Compliance Professionals Association (www.icpainc.org). Dragotta attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she obtained a BS in Spanish and spent her junior year studying in Madrid, Spain. Her master’s in international business management is from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

 


Nate Ward, CGBP

Mr. Ward brings international experience within manufacturing and banking as well as diverse cultural and linguistic knowledge to the ITAC. He most recently worked at the Vitamix Corporation in the international consumer products department. There, he worked through importer/distributors in over 30 countries to sell high-end consumer kitchen wares. Mr. Ward brings over seven years of experience in sales, logistics, marketing, pricing, research, and product development – all with an international focus. Prior to Vitamix, Mr. Ward worked for Charter One Bank in international money transfers. In addition to studying in six countries, he holds an international MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College, an MA from McGill University of Montreal. He speakers multiple languages including French, Spanish, and Japanese.
