Nicole oversees World Trade Center (WTC) Utah’s operations and national resource program. She administers grant awards for small businesses to expand internationally with a focus on trade promotion. Her work consists of recruiting, coordinating, and managing businesses at international trade shows, international outbound trade missions, and independent international activities. She wanted to become a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) to increase her international knowledge, help businesses realize the importance of international trade, and further her global career.

Prior to WTC Utah, Nicole worked as a Budget and Policy Analyst under Governor Huntsman and Governor Herbert to help balance the state budget and make policy recommendations. Before returning to Utah to work at WTC Utah, she studied international relations at the University of Cambridge International Summer School, taught elementary-aged children in Morocco, consulted with a nonprofit in Peru on a water filtration system, and worked in Costa Rica on community projects with an emphasis on women advancement, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, and community development.

Nicole is a Utah Licensed Attorney and Certified Government FInancial Manager. She is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, The George Washington University, University of Utah, Stetson University College of Law, and Université Toulouse 1 Capitole. Her studies focused on business, accounting, economics, law, and international relations.

One of her proudest moments is winning the Governor’s Office Chili Cook-off. Nicole feels the happiest when she is learning about other cultures, solving tough issues or spending time on a tropical island.
