Kathleen A. DeMarco, CAE
Title: Executive Director
Kathleen A. (Kathy) DeMarco, CAE serves as the Executive Director NASBITE International. She has worked in association management for over 25 years, encompassing advancing roles in project and program management, strategic planning and implementation, membership development and retention, budgeting and financial management, meeting and event logistics, and communications.
DeMarco holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism and Public Relations from Temple University, and is a Certified Association Executive. Kathy also completed the Certificate Program in Association Management through ASAE University, and the Certificate in Industrial Distribution Program through Indiana University/Purdue University-Indianapolis. She is an active Member of ASAE-The Center for Association Leadership (ASAE) and the Pennsylvania Chapter of ASAE (PASAE). She has also served in leadership roles for the Association Education Alliance (AEA), the University of Industrial Distribution (UID) Steering Committee, and the Delaware Valley Society of Association Executives (DVSAE).
Diane Schafer, CMP
Title: Director of Meetings
Diane Schafer, CMP is Director of Meetings for NASBITE International. She is responsible for all aspects of planning association meetings and conventions and member services.
Schafer is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) as awarded by the Convention Industry Council (CIC) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, PA. Throughout her over twenty years in the industry she has planned successful events in both domestic and international locales for clients across various disciplines through professional foresight and attention to detail. Schafer is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma, and has served on the Board of Directors for the PCMA Chesapeake Chapter.
Amy Chetelat, CAE
Title: Director of Finance
Amy Chetelat, CAE is experienced in both corporate accounting and association management, and is responsible for SMG’s accounting and financial management, as well as the financial management of thirteen trade and professional associations. In her role as SMG’s Director of Finance, Chetelat is responsible for all areas of accounting and financial management as well as information technology and building operations. Chetelat is supported by an accounting manager and administrative staff in SMG’s Financial Department.
Chetelat holds a Masters of Business Administration and earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives in 2003, and was recertified in 2005, 2008, and 2011. She is an active member of ASAE and a former member of the Finance Section Committee. She is a past president of the Maryland Society of Association Executives. Before becoming President of MSAE she spent several years serving as their treasurer. She is an active member of the Institute for Managerial Accountants, the Chesapeake Professional Women’s Network and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Lisa Christie, QAS
Title: Member Services & Certification Coordinator
Lisa Christie is the Member Services & Certification Coordinator for NASBITE International. She is responsible for all outgoing communications, membership, CGBP certifications/recertifications, webinars, and general daily inquiries from both current and prospective members. She has been with Stringfellow Management Group since 2015.
Lisa completed the Qualified Association Specialist program at Florida Society of Association Executives in 2017. Lisa enjoys cooking, video games, and spending time with her husband and son.

Mary Skudzinskas, Accounting Manager in SMG’s Financial Management Team, works with Director of Finance Amy Chetelat in performing the daily accounting operations and financial activities for SMG and its client associations.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Loyola University. She has over 15 years of experience in in all facets of corporate accounting. This includes financial statement preparation, budgeting and financial analysis.

Amie Goscinski serves as Director of Social Media for NASBITE International. Amie leads public relations activity, client-to-market strategies, promotional opportunities and digital campaigns for NASBITE.
Goscinski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Towson University. She brings over 20 years of marketing, advertising, and media experience. She has participated in WICT (Women in Cable Telecommunications) and is a graduate of the NBC Universal/Comcast Women in Leadership (WIL) program.
