Lila earned her Global MBA from the University of Houston-Victoria, Texas. As the Chief Compliance Officer at SEKO Logistics, Lila is responsible for global import/export compliance, TSA compliance, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, and health and safety. Prior to her role at SEKO, Lila built and managed compliance programs in the defense, industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, and chemicals industries with special emphasis on Free Trade Agreement programs, foreign import/export compliance, and Global Trade Management software implementation. Lila is the founder of the Dallas-Fort Worth ICPA DATA Group, a local networking group for trade compliance professionals, and supports leaders of trade compliance networking groups in cities across the U.S.. She specializes in building compliance programs and communicating complex compliance regulations in simple terms that are relevant to business.
