Generally, if the CPE is related to CGBP Practice Delineation or is presented or sponsored by NASBITE or a credible international trade training organization, government agency, college/university, or profession (e.g., accounting, attorney, finance, risk management, broker) credit will be given.
CGBP Recertification CEU Activities
There is no CGBP exam retake requirement for those who have passed the exam. Once an individual passes the CGBP exam, they are good for life. However, recertification is necessary to be considered current and in good standing with NASBITE International.
Generally, if the CPE is related to CGBP Practice Delineation or is presented or sponsored by NASBITE or a credible international trade training organization, government agency, college/university, or profession (e.g., accounting, attorney, finance, risk management, broker) credit will be given.
- Any training you receive that aligns with the CGBP Practice Delineation (e.g. Domains, Tasks, and Subtasks).
- Attendance/participation in an NASBITE sponsored or endorsed professional program.
- Attendance/participation in a government-sponsored professional program in person or virtually.
- Attendance/participation in designated courses during the NASBITE International Annual Conference, National Small Business Exporter Summit, or monthly webinars hosted by NASBITE International.
- Publication of relevant, peer-reviewed materials related to the focus of the CGBP credential.
- Developing learning materials for NASBITE International accredited initiatives.
- Participation in CGBP certification activities (e.g. job analysis, item writing, exam construction, pass point study) led by the CGBP Governance Council.
- Participation in NASBITE International and CGBP committees or Boards (i.e. recertification committee).
- Public Policy Development.
