2027 NASBITE International Student Case Competition
The NASBITE International Student Case Competition is an exciting learning and networking opportunity for students attending two-year and four-year colleges and universities that offer an academic business program.
The goals of the NASBITE International Student Case Competition are:
- To provide college and university students the opportunity to work collaboratively on a creative solution to a real-world international business challenge, and to put their research, presentation and networking skills to work.
- To provide the sponsoring company access to the very best international business students presenting potential solutions to their international business challenges.
- To provide a solid foundation for student involvement and participation within NASBITE International.
Competition Format—Team’s Choice: Live or Virtual:
NASBITE International offers both a live competition track as well as a virtual competition track with an undergraduate winner being chosen for each track. Graduate teams can choose either track, and one graduate winner will be selected from all the graduate teams competing.
For the live track, teams will present their solutions to the company and NASBITE judges on Tuesday, April 13, 2027 and will participate in NASBITE’s Annual Forum in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, April 13-15. Finalists for the live track will be chosen and announced at a special case competition event the evening of Wednesday, April 14th. The undergraduate finalists will present to the company and to an audience of other student teams and forum participants on the morning of April 15th, 2027.
For the virtual track, all undergraduate teams participating will submit a recording of their presentation by 11:59 pm PDT Wednesday, March 31st. Finalists for the virtual track will present their solutions to the company and judges remotely on April 14th. Graduate teams will present live or virtually to the judges at time slots to be scheduled April 13th and 14th. From those presentations, a winner will be determined
Registration and Fees
The fee to register a team for any of the tracks is $300. For institutions that participate in NASBITE International’s Educational Partner program, the team registration fee is $250. Teams participating in the live competition will also pay registration fees for students and the advisor to participate in the NASBITE Annual Forum as well as any travel expenses. In the live competition, a school can have one undergraduate team and one graduate team (if applicable). A school can register more than one team for the undergraduate virtual competition, but separate registration is required for each team.
